| Me personally no, mainly stocker cattle and I try to sell majority in July and August and rest pastures. Lots of groceries this year so bought some short term cows. I quit buying calves end of August and hopefully the small end of those go to wheat soon. I’ll get more serious buying in November/December and the ones kept for grass will get kicked out on dry grass in Jan/feb and protein supplemented til green up. I was under stocked this summer so lots of standing forage.
Friends I neighbor with that run cow/calf haven’t weaned yet besides one due to weather and having groceries.
