I hear you. I'm not sure what makes no=till beans work myself, but I've had the best yields ever. Looks like planting beans in April and letting them stay cold and wet for a month until they germinate results in 90 bpa beans. It's even better if we have 3 weeks of drought (haha, but it worked out). I don't know what makes NT beans not work in your area, but the agronomic's say they shouldn't work here either.

I've never been an "all in" for the next trend, but having 2M gallons of manure to apply was making tillage near impossible to finish. So, we just decided to do it - just an old kinze tl16 with interplant units and coulters (The trend now is to remove these).
