You don't "shift" the lines when you are changing implement widths. The monitor will do that on its own, or it should anyway. People plant, spray, and harvest with the same guidance lines even if the planter is 40', sprayer is 100, and combine is 20' for example 


Shifting is literally moving the line inch by inch off of where it was originally recorded which is not what you want to do for strip till.
