Right, wrong, or indifferent- I did some of this last week.   We were cutting beans far from home, and also had dry corn there, so it just made sense to take both heads and do everything while the weather was great.   At-the-money March calls have been very cheap for the amount of time you're buying right now, and there's a check cut already to stop some interest.   Obviously if I was more of a genius I would have sold all my 2024 corn 18 months ago, but at least this is a plan to work and execute- not DP and pray.
