Mid Michigan
I 2.5A Grid Sample every 6 years after soybeans. Corn-Soy rotation, Apply per grid and set to 0, Do the conversions so each bu corn uses ,7# MAP and ,44# Potash. Corn planter puts on 20gal/A 19-17-0 which gives 75#/A MAP.
Soys MAP 1.5#/Bu and Potash 2.3#/bu.
Have done this starting in 2002, My south field has been Grid sampled in 2002, 2007, 2011, 2017 and 2023. Corn Yielded 198 this year which is good for mid MI.
