He may have made more money lol. It takes a lot of bushels to pay for dry. Not saying you should or shouldn’t but you need quite a few bushels to pay for dry.
Yes that can be debated. But he also had less bushels. $120 worth depending on the year. But he was also falling behind in building fertility to raise good beans because they respond more to soil fertility than fertilizing ahead of like Corn.
This is a very good point that should not be overlooked,IMO.
