Chebanse, IL..... | Chart below is nutrient removal per crop from U of IL & supposedly resembles (I haven't checked) results of surrounding states college stuff.
The chart shows the amount of raw nutrient removal, so you have to convert it to match the product you buy and spread. In other words, if the chart shows 100lb of P2O5 removal, you'd have to spread 217 lbs of Dap (18-46-0) to give you that 100# of P2O5.
Removing 100 lbs of K2O per chart means you'd have to spread about 160 # of Potash (0-0-60) to replace the 100# of K2O
I assume my calculations are correct. Feel free to advise me if not.
