Missouri | I have a couple neighbors,
Neighbor A forgot the p and k on one farm, corn, 30 bushel and 3 lbs of TW was determined.
Neighbor B had too much to do, farmed marginal ground, didn’t get p and k spread across all acres, multiple years, he was crying blues come fall, poor yields and the 3 lbs of TW. He was calling us all liars on yields.
This wouldn’t apply if you’ve been over applying but why stop now and put you in a hole? If p was $1200 and k $800 and $3 and $9 then I’d say decisions need made but fertilizer isn’t that high. | |
