Probably more breakdowns in the first two years than the next 10. In two years it is broken in and all personal modifications are already made and surely functions just like a new machine. I looked at Machinery Pete for a sprayer similar to my brand new one. 2 years old with 947 hours. Was $38,000 cheaper (no shipping) than brand new price. Pick a good year in farming and buy one piece of equipment new using cash. Don't get every bell and whistle on that piece of equipment that has no ROI and run it for 15 years. Use all the money you saved by not having leather massaging seats in your equipment and paying interest to buy land. | |
