West central IL | Tough crowd. The sharp rise in machinery cost should be of concern to all of us. These companies who have been our partners in farming for generations have seen fit to put an extreme amount of bells and whistles on the latest stuff. I have two tractors I pull wagons around with. One is about 40 years old and one is 5. Guy pulling wagons for us literally today asked why I always grab the 40 year old one. Told him I can’t remember the last time it broke down.
