CNY | I just got a letter my interest rate is dropping. Many people on here will tell you that historically they aren’t that high.
Do you have data that 3 year old stuff breaks down more than 2 year old stuff? When you sell your crops, does the buyer pay a premium because it was made with less than 2 year old equipment? Does your seed only sprout if it’s planted with a 1 or 2 year old planter? Is most of your net worth tied up in machinery that you’re making payments on?
Corporations make profits, that’s capitalism. I don’t really care how much other corporations make. I try to focus on making money for myself with my business. If no one could afford new equipment, they would stop making it. Somewhere, someone is profitable enough to buy it. There are many very profitable farms that run mostly older equipment. If you’re complaining you can’t afford new equipment, look at your business and figure out how to make more money. Or just run your stuff longer and get some New Car smell air fresheners
