| Last night on my 3020 header with a complete SCH cutting system, the cutter bar splice broke. 35 ft. head with 4 section s of cutter bar I believe, spliced with a splice plate. Put a new splice on and ran about 100 acres today. Now tonight the cutter bar broke again. This time it wasnt at a splice joint, it just broke. Checked the entire length of bar and guards, nothing even warm to the touch. So I don't believe anything is binding. I'll look at it more in the morning but I am perplexed. | |
