I have mine threaded and it shows up as a response to CC, but I dont see where CC said anything that out of line.
I seem to trigger David and several others on here.
And I don’t think I said, and didn’t intend to say that the cash didn’t matter. My point is it doesn’t fix so much of what people are facing in those areas.
Yeah, no electricity and no internet means no plastic money will work. Even a bank that was willing to open up and run paperless would quickly run out of cash since they don’t keep that much on hand.
Significant numbers of people are just stuck…….hence the government, humanitarian and volunteer response.
Still, nothing like the people in a city would be. I’m sure there’s a lot of homegrown response we haven’t heard about that hit the ground long before anything from the outside.
