Northeast Louisiana | Here, it’s not required for an attorney to do or file land deeds. But, the courthouse wants you to have the paperwork done correctly. If the deed is typed correctly and everything else is spelled out correctly, then send it.
If the deed is the same as when you purchased it and all you’re doing is moving that deed again, then that should be pretty simple and straightforward.
The tax office is supposed to check it anyway. They have the app when the legals are typed in, it will overlay on the map to verify it as well. | |
