We are spoiled. Any of you remember many years ago when phones would go out for days and not always due to storms?
Also, being on 4 and 8 party lines when no one could get through to you.
The good old days.
I remember those days, I was Mr Fixit for the phone company. Bell around here would try their darndest and us employees would work overtime to fix as many as we could as soon as possible.
Now, even I have switched to Cell Phone. You just got to accept that things beyond your control and comprehension can go wrong, and it will get fixed as soon as they "get to it". |
