My S-i-L is in FL as a lineman, restoring power - was in TX a month or so back. In TX, people would give the crews "poisoned" water/snacks/food , they were STRICTLY forbidden to accept ANYTHING from the general public. Crews were also threatened with violence while restoring power.
Haven't hear if FL has been similar, probably won't know until he gets back and we talk - he doesn't share too much of that info with my daughter.
I wonder where he was exactly,there are plenty sorry ass people around here but I wonder what they figured to gain by poisoning food or water for the linemen.I know of some pretty low rent neighborhoods where they would raise hell or be unappreciative to the men working but poisoning them just doesn’t make sense.
How whacked out on drugs do you have to be to be mad/unappreciative towards linemen trying to restore your electric service???
Some things are just beyond belief.
This is crazy ….
