Thumb of Michigan | Well, if you think your homeowners and car insurance went up a lot, hope you don't get the surprise my spouse and I just received from our Part D insurance company.
Our part D (prescription) increases in only going up 434%. Yes, you are reading that right this year we paid $5.30 a month next year $28.30 a month, plus our co-pays are increasing. I'll shop Mediare.gov again for a different company but will most likely see an increase from other companies as well, with the new co-pay schedules. One of my prescriptions is going from $-0- to $5 a month as an example, others more yet.
This doesn't include the extra contribution to IRRMA that will most likely apply because of me selling one of my business' two years ago.
Rant over for now, before I have to go on high blood pressure meds. | |
