After hearing the concerns of companies who would like to expand their business they are concerned about having available labor. Since 1980 the birth rate has dropped dramatically and with the baby boomers leaving the work force there is a shortage of labor. Some say they have to pay for to get more labor but in reality they would be just taking away labor from other companies. This all fuels inflation. China now also faces this dilemma after they built factories and now they no longer have the labor. It seems that Mexico is gaining manufacturing because of available labor.

Dave you always have good insight We are 30 miles from detroit and I dk one capable person who is unemployed . 16 yr. old Grandson started working at grocery store aftern school/weekends. He is now making $17.80 hr. and they will give him as many hrs. as he wants

Livestock/packing plants/greenhouses "here" would have to close without immigrants/offshore labour. 10,000 off shore workers here on 8 month work visa

Especially big shortage in skilled trades
