| Not all marble is polished the same.!Wife has 2 pieces of marble that she pulls peanut brittle on. One she bought from a specialty shop that is highly polished. The other came out of a bank’s teller window top that a contractor friend gave her when he remodeled the bank. Though they look the same the one from the bank is rougher & peanut brittle is much harder to pull on it
My guess is the piece in the pic is cultured marble
