I just copy the link I want to share directly from the browser window.

Then paste it directly into the reply here.

Once pasted I highlight it, copy it and click the chain link icon.

Then I paste it into the pop up box link URL line and click insert button. Finish making your post and submit.

Yes, that exact process is what I use to make the link

But it always ends up like this#mce_temp_url#

In that example I had highlighted the words "like this"

I am using google chrome.  Is there some kind of setting that could have changed in chrome?
