Selecting a variety with a high tolerance/prevention score would be the best step as usually drought tolerance and charcoal rot tolerance go hand in hand.

And then hope it rains sometime in late July/Aug. Doesn’t seem to be a disease that happens every year or even every dry year. Rotation wouldn’t hurt but if you have raised decent beans on that piece before, that ground wont really be predisposed to have high charcoal rot pressure from now on and I wouldn’t be afraid one bit to keep a normal rotation.
