Do you think we should impose tarrifs on machines and tools we have to import from the USA to make our factories more competitive and protect our jobs? Perhaps a 200% tarrif on agricultural products to make my job more secure
You in the UK already do that for quite a few ag and industrial products-or did within the last 5 years.
Also last I heard, your last steel mill is slated to close, you automotive industry is long gone, and is a tractor even made there anymore? Perhaps something should have been done.
