North Central Iowa | Seeing the post about impact plate got me thinking of something else related to that. When you check the impact plate, also check the rubbery stuff behind it, called "potting". Sometime mice get in there and chew on that, which then exposes the wires inside. That is what actually records the impact/force of grain hitting it. When it isn't properly sealed, it will cause some really funky yield readings.
