Not only is the 1/2 restrictive as is, when they put a joint in it, it reduces even more. Not as big a problem on the spigot I'm upgrading, but the other side of the house has a 90 degree elbow and it goes inside the 1/2 pex....so maybe 3/8 just before that spigot?
