Manitoba | I have a Concord air seeder with a 1502 Concord air tank. I'm looking at switching to a different air tank. Dont like the metering system on the Concord. Its not the most accurate and doesnt clean out very well when getting down to the last bit of seed. If the meter is set so its at a lower rate it leaves a few bushels in the tank when it runs out. This is especially annoying with canola. Bougault tanks look like a good system to me. I would be looking at something from the late 90s or early 00s. When did they come out with that clever stepless trans for setting the seed rate? On the older ones where you change sprokets, are the steps between sprokets small enough? Do the older ones have good moniters and controls? Thanks. | |
