Ne Colorado | Our neighbor bought a Vermeer. He swore up and down his would grind hay just as good as a tub grinder and he could blow it into a pile from the side. We have a hell of a time getting custom hay grinder guys in gear and got frustrated one day and asked him if he could grind some for us. All that vermeer did was pull the bale apart. What’s the point. For 16 dollars a bale??? Think I’d rather go back to custom guys screwing us around or fork it by hand. All that loose long stem hay was a nightmare to get out of the feed wagon. Between bent augers and broken apron chains. Never again.
