East TN | The big farm in this area is building a bunch of greenhouses, and I’m not against that but it is costly and high manual labor. I’m not so sure I’d be able to source the labor. The idea of selling stuff to the Yankees is appealing, when I was a younger I worked a summer as a delivery driver for a local furniture company and it was insane how much they would tip you for basic stuff, lots of disposable income. Selling beef direct to customer is the closest thing I have to a plan as of now. First tho I want to get some level of forage/hay going so I can actually stock up some cattle to be butchered (was just about to make a new thread on that) | |
