coast of Maine | Jack,you need to think out of commodities.Your land is in an area that begs for direct to consumer marketing.Lakes/housing =customers whom want to spend $$ on great fresh produce.The ideas for this are unlimited.From veg/fruit/chicken even...yes I know of a guy that markets just chickens,,direct(PIA as butchering is a job) ,,makes a living on minimal land.The veg season is short but in TN you could be selling 9 months easy. | |
