Farm for profit, dumping money into a losing venture ultimately hurts all of us.
There are several smart posters here who will not give you the time of day without a rough location in your profile. Also helps people give you better advice. Pasture management in Maine is very different from Wyoming, etc.
Now I know there is no substitute for holsing the reigns BUT, i often wonder why hobby guys dont just find a bigger operator to help out. I had a guy make 10k one year coming to work when he felt like it. Got his farming fix in and made a profit, still got to cash a rent cheque. | |
