I personally have always thought it needs to be more of an area WITHIN a state, such as NE IL, or SWWI. Crops, weather, and soils in NW IL have almost nothing to do with those same factors in the SE corner of IL. Same with WI. Climate in N WI & SE WI are night & day different. When reading someone with a crop problem 750 mis away, you realize that you probably have nothing to equate it to.....(I know, shouldn't end w/preposition)

My view. I realize some still fear black helicopters at night. We have a lot of helicopters flying around Chebanse & Kankakee at night, but they are mostly olive green.
