NW Ohio | There are 100+ variables to your specific situation that we can’t know. I think the biggest thing is if you have the drive and desire to do it. Everyone approaches farming differently. Some like to be on the cutting edge, some find reward in doing things frugally with old technology. Nothing wrong with either, just different. Some are willing to invest off farm income heavily to grow the farm. I would try to think 10 to 15 years ahead. How secure is and how much do you enjoy your primary job? Could farming be something to replace that down the road? | |
