| Most dealerships have a rule about trade ins. Ten years ago the rule was any tractor under $20,000 was a waste of time and will loose money on the lot. I am sure today the amount is $40,000. There is just too much risk for any possible profit if something goes wrong on just one out of ten trades. The jockeys that work on the their own stuff are much more efficient on many items.
Dealers will make exceptions for an older tractor with extremely low hours and will charge accordingly. | |
