You were within few miles of where I live.

Crops are slightly behind. We had a two week wet spell this spring so a lot of corn & beans went in after May 10. The hot conditions over the past week have really sped up crop maturity (or dying in some cases).

As other posters have stated the Bohemian Alps term is loosely used to describe this area of Northeast Nebraska.

Some surprising yields will come out of those hills with the right weather. Lots of pasture broken out in the 60’s & 70’s that made some wealthy people off of cheap land.
