What model?
I had a 252 and a 251. The 252 I really struggled with. I even had miller Tec support on the phone while making adjustments. It helped but not much. I think it may have been the miller gun instead of a tweko. I got rid of it now just use the older one and it works as expected. I know others have the 252 and get along good. I know others that struggled till they stumbled on the settings that work. It just seemed very sensitive to adjustments and would burn back to the tip no matter the settings.
I fought a 252 for years. Almost sold it. Put new drive rollers on and it welds like it should. I had tried about everything else. Rollers looked fine. |
