Does the person have a CAC scan?
Thirty years ago that was brand new. It is finally hitting mainstream use and is cheap to do even without insurance paying for it. (yet my heart doctor didn't want me to get one because he didn't think it was useful - but I did anyway at another hospital on my own that did have a department that thought it was useful). Wife and I got it on a special for 50 bucks each (but had to drive to a hospital in KC). Took longer to fill out the patient paperwork than the test took. They called a few days later with the results then sent a paper copy in the mail.
Maybe in another thirty years what we are learning today will be adopted? Of course anything new learned has to be verified over time with additional studies and clinical experience. That takes time.
