The “trails” are graded gravel roads with some rough spots. Just about anything 4x4 can handle them nowadays. Everything in that area is heavily trafficked so prepare for a lot of other vehicles and SxSs around.
San Juan’s are beautiful. Take your time and enjoy the scenery.
This time of year it’s getting cold and snow becomes a possibility. Be aware.
