| The last one they took was chained to what I call a dead man. It is a piece of 4 inch flighting welded on a piece of 7/16 rod with a loop on the top.
I had the flighting part screwed in the ground a foot or so.
I am wondering if they figured out how to unscrew it from the ground.
They did pull out a chunk of ground 4 inches in diameter, but only a few inches deep.
The rod was about 3 ft long so one would think they would have gotten snagged in the trees.
I had pulled it out by unscrewing but it took me quite a while ( I worked on it several times over the course of a few days} and had to do it after a rain. | |
