Ludington/Manistee MI area | Growing up I spent a lot of time around my grandparents who lived through the Great Depression so it got instilled in my head to always turn off lights. Fast to now all 3 of our bedrooms are upstairs and my kids mostly daughter are terrible about turning off lights. Wife found these motion sensing light switches but haven’t got them to work. Any creative hacks on how to mechanically win the battle? Scheming some sort of motion sensor or timer. Wife talked to neighborhood electrician and his suggestion was to put an LED bulb and live with it. Daughter is 3 so pointless to make her to understand where electricity comes from and the concept of saving money yet she’s smart it’s a battle for the appropriate time.
