Holly Hill, SC | I follow what you are saying. My shaft and bearing are in good shape, was only planning on removing the arm so I could replace the rubber bushing which requires a press. Will keep your plan in mind if I am changing the shaft. I found out late in the process that the bottom of the elevator is not welded or bolted to the horizontal auger tube. The elevator must have been designed to shift over without disassembling the entire machine. | |
