Clark, SD | Exactly, In my eyes this is the only easy way to solve the problem. You're never going to solve the metal health issues or parenting...the one thing you can do is make it more difficult for someone unhinged to get a gun like that. I hate walking in at lunch or at night and seeing that there has been another mass shooting of kids at school...apparently some here don't get bothered by kids being killed in their classrooms and have no desire to fix the actual issue.
I have zero issues with being a little more inconvenienced in obtaining a new gun if its going to save kids at schools lives. I know I am a law abiding citizen and have never been in trouble or are going to do anything rash. So i have no problem going through a strict background check and having a waiting period. | |
