Same thing happened here. Had to replace it.
If it was converted from Paradyme/Geosteer or Original Steercommand, make sure to put the new Hall Effects wheel angle sensor on. Might have to change pins A-C around on the plug if you are running the old style currently.
This, we did this as well, but ended up with a new, screwy sensor.
