Yes! I even went so far as to get (brand?) California olive oil, only to find out they put in fine print that it was sourced from all over. Ah, sheesh!
Olive oil is like truth & information: everybody tells you they are speaking truth-especially the liars. I do not feel safe trusting a single European/middle eastern supplier. Saw a program about the problem years ago. European Union has an entire security force trying to control the problem. I do not think they can control it
