That is true, but somehow I doubt anything other than an AR is as attractive to the kids that would do this.

I know a policeman or citizen responding to a shooter is going to have a lot better chance of taking down a shooter if he has to reload more often. And things can happen, clips can be dropped, forget to rack a cartridge into the chamber etc. All of which would usually make a difference in lives lost.

It wouldn’t hurt anyone to have max 3 rounds capacity of any semi-auto weapon. I hear the hog hunting example trotted out a lot. I really doubt there’s many hogs killed after the first shot and after 3, it’s just spraying lead. I think the hog problem is only going to be controlled with bait anyway.


The cop and citizen would have to reload just as much.

First its 5, then 3, then 1, then permits, then classes and permits, then its restricted to a certain area with every move documented and approved, then its buybacks. No.

Knives and bombs along with other things will just become more popular, see Europe.
