I have a pen of 60 Herefords and 100 angus. 2 angus have been treated for pinkeye and over half the Herefords have.
Ask your vet about isolating the pinkeye you have and making a vaccine off of it. Very reasonable cost and in the last decade of doing that here, we haven't had one single case.
