I read a few of the comments below but not all and not sure I'll be back to discuss this but I have a comment.
Some will argue it is about the guns.
Others including me will argue it is about mental health.
But a third component is to question the design of the education system itself. Large schools where bullying and other issues can occur could be the problem. Smaller pods with just a few kids could greatly improve education and I would think almost eliminate these other issues. Essentially the rural country school model.
Attended a 1 room 25 +30 kid school from grades 1-8....I believe their was more bullies then than now as "being tough" was acceptable
Difference then was we kids didn't have access to Assault Rifles .
Mental health ,TV,movie,video game violence all plays a part in it.
A lot of educated Professionals and others took part in Jan 6 insurrection that resulted in deths and injuries, kids see this and think they can do the same |
