Faunsdale, AL | That is true, but somehow I doubt anything other than an AR is as attractive to the kids that would do this.
I know a policeman or citizen responding to a shooter is going to have a lot better chance of taking down a shooter if he has to reload more often. And things can happen, clips can be dropped, forget to rack a cartridge into the chamber etc. All of which would usually make a difference in lives lost.
It wouldn’t hurt anyone to have max 3 rounds capacity of any semi-auto weapon. I hear the hog hunting example trotted out a lot. I really doubt there’s many hogs killed after the first shot and after 3, it’s just spraying lead. I think the hog problem is only going to be controlled with bait anyway. | |
