We forget what agreements were made about the USSR giving up territory for the guarantee that NATO would not close in on Russia. But that is several years back (but within my lifetime so not all THAT long ago) so totally forgotten...........except by Putinp>
Can you provide some evidence of this imaginary agreement you speak of?
Hint: you can't, Gorbachev himself said it was never discussed.
