Funny thing about a bidet. Don't know if it technically was a Bidet or named something else.

But we stayed at three different resorts in Indonesia (but owned by the same company) and in every bathroom, either in the rooms or public, there was a flexible hose with a lever shower nozzle like you would find in a kitchen sink retractable nozzle. Right by the stool. Same or similar thing in airports and public restrooms (though one airport bathroom did have a regular Bidet built into the stool).

Different strokes for different folks. Fortunately they also had toilet paper but also a waste basket with a sign that said to put toilet paper in the basket. Probably a modest septic system and drain plumbing.
