Subject: RE: Trapshooting setup for high school son

NW Iowa
I've done some of my best trap shooting with an 870 express. Pumps are more fun on trap
That being said a good cheap over/under is a Baikal 27.
Yes they are Russian, but they have been putting meat on table for a long time.
I've been made fun of at some shoots for carrying one around.
But the laughs on them when it's on the button. They are a good all-around workhorse.
I have 2 and they come up real smooth. I have no problem dropping 2 pheasants with 2 shots.
