WC IL
Lived with a guy in college who went home for Labor Day to help chop silage. He went up the silo to level it after it sat overnight. Started the blower and started climbing immediately. He got part way up and the gas coming down the chute got him. He fell to the bottom beating his jaw on the steps.

He said steak was not really very tasty when you purée it in a blender so you can suck it through a straw because your broken jaw is wired shut. The guys in our house sat through a training session on how to use the wire cutters he wore on a chain around his neck to cut the wires if he chokes or became ill.
Gave me new respect for silo gas.
